Everything you upload to this site is free for everyone to use, for any purpose, forever. This page says exactly what that means.
What this covers
"Your contribution" means everything you publish here: exports (rotations, custom functions, custom conditions, condition categories, item sets, effects, announcements, profiles and anything else the site accepts), their titles, descriptions and tags, and comments.
The dedication: CC0 1.0
By publishing a contribution you dedicate it to the public domain under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication. To the fullest extent the law allows, you waive all copyright and related rights in it, worldwide. Anyone may copy, modify, distribute, perform and use it, including commercially, without asking and without crediting you.
Fallback license
Where a waiver is not legally possible, CC0 1.0 itself grants everyone a free, unconditional, irrevocable license to use your contribution for any purpose (its section 3). If any part of that is held invalid, you grant every person a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, irrevocable license to use, copy, modify, adapt, distribute and publish your contribution for any purpose, without attribution, and you agree not to assert any rights in it against anyone who uses it.
What you confirm when you upload
- You wrote the contribution yourself, or you otherwise have the right to dedicate all of it to the public domain.
- It does not copy material you are not allowed to give away, such as text copied word for word from a guide website, or someone else's export published without their permission.
- It follows the acceptable use policy.
Spell IDs, item IDs and the facts of a rotation are game data; a priority list written from them is the kind of thing this license is for. Long passages copied from a guide are not.
What this does not cover
- Trademarks. World of Warcraft, Battle.net and Blizzard are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard.
- The site itself. The Rotation Master addon and this site's code have their own licenses.
- Your account. Your display name and sign-in details are not part of your contribution; see the privacy notice.
No warranty
Contributions are provided as they are. Neither the site nor the people who upload to it promise that any contribution works, is accurate, or is safe to import. Lua code in particular runs inside your game; read it before you import it.
