Call as
Conditions.raid_marks.markName(key)
Record the dependency Conditions.raid_marks.markName, then call it by that name. A namespaced call does not pass self: use a colon call or pass the object yourself.
What it does
Returns the game's localized name for a raid marker, falling back to its English name.
Arguments
| Name | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
key | string | The marker's saved name. |
Returns
| 1 | string | The marker name. |
|---|
Editions
Built In helpers are registered on every edition. What differs is the game API they read; where one is missing the helper falls back or returns nil with a reason.
It reads no game API directly.
How the addon calls it
- Raid Mark (widget)
box:SetLabel(markName(key)) Conditions.raid_marks.markListTextif mark:find(key, 1, true) then names[#names + 1] = markName(key) end
Dependencies
MARK_NUMBER(builtin:Conditions/raid_marks.lua:MARK_NUMBER)
Source
Conditions/raid_marks.lua, line 59. Read only in game; Duplicate makes an editable copy.

local label = _G["RAID_TARGET_" .. (MARK_NUMBER[key] or 0)]
if type(label) == "string" and label ~= "" then return label end
