Class In Group

Classic EraTBC AnniversaryClassic progressionForeverRetail
  • Not available on that edition (the reason is in the tooltip)
  • Depends on the setting, your class or another addon (details in the tooltip)

What it does

Checks how many members of the class you choose are in your party, or in your whole raid when Raid is ticked, compared with the number you set. You count too, and when you are not in a group only you are counted.

Why you might use it

Counts the members of one class in your party, or in the whole raid when Raid is ticked. Use it to avoid doubling up on what another player already covers, for example a Paladin choosing which Blessing to keep up based on how many Paladins are in the raid, or a Shaman picking a totem depending on whether a Warrior or Rogue is in the party. It works well as a switch condition that chooses a rotation for the group you are in.

Example

Number of Paladins in the Raid is less than 2

Settings

Class - The character class we are interested in.

Raid - Check the entire raid, or just our party.

Operator - How to compare Count with the Count value. This comparison uses basic mathematical comparison operations.
