Health Count Within Range

Classic EraTBC AnniversaryClassic progressionForeverRetail
  • Not available on that edition (the reason is in the tooltip)
  • Depends on the setting, your class or another addon (details in the tooltip)

What it does

Checks how many party or raid members within the distance you set of the unit specified have health that passes the comparison you set, compared with the count you set. A negative health number compares each member's missing health instead.

Why you might use it

Count the party or raid members within a distance of a unit whose raw health passes a test; a negative Health value tests missing health instead. Missing health suits heals of a known size, for example casting Prayer of Healing only when at least 3 allies are each missing more than it heals, so none of it is wasted. Not available on Retail or Forever, where the game hides health values from addons. See also Health Percentage Count Within Range.

Example

The number of Raid or Party members within 30 yards of you whose health is less than 2500 is greater than or equal to 2

Settings

What each setting in the condition editor means, from the game's own help.

Unit - The unit this condition uses as the target of comparison.

Operator - How to compare Health with the Health value. This comparison uses basic mathematical comparison operations.

Health - The health each ally within Distance of Unit is compared with. If this number is negative, it compares each ally's health deficit (from max health) instead.

Operator - How to compare Health Count Within Range with the Count value. This comparison uses basic mathematical comparison operations.

Count - The number of allies within Distance of Unit whose health passes that comparison. This only counts allies you are in a party or raid with.

Distance - The distance (in yards) allies are measured against.

Same Group - Only count units in the same raid group.

Include Pets - Include pets in the count.

Uses readable positions in the same instance, or player-centered range estimates when positions are unavailable. A unit counts only when its upper range bound is within Distance. Uncertain positions, range, subgroup membership or required health/mana values keep the whole condition unavailable, including under Unless. Percentage checks require a positive maximum; empty aggregates have no result.
