Call as
Conditions.talent.group(spec)
Record the dependency Conditions.talent.group, then call it by that name. A namespaced call does not pass self: use a colon call or pass the object yourself.
What it does
Returns the talent group to query for spec: spec itself on progression clients when it is a whole number from 1 to 4, otherwise nil so the platform uses its default group.
Arguments
| Name | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
spec | any | Specialization or talent group number from the editor or evaluation. |
Returns
| 1 | number | nil | Talent group index, or nil for the default group. |
|---|
Editions
Built In helpers are registered on every edition. What differs is the game API they read; where one is missing the helper falls back or returns nil with a reason.
It reads no game API directly.
