Call as
Conditions.talent.text(parent, message)
Record the dependency Conditions.talent.text, then call it by that name. A namespaced call does not pass self: use a colon call or pass the object yourself.
What it does
Adds a full-width explanatory label to a talent condition editor.
Arguments
| Name | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
parent | table | Condition widget group the control is added to. |
message | string | Text to show. |
Returns
Nothing.
Editions
Built In helpers are registered on every edition. What differs is the game API they read; where one is missing the helper falls back or returns nil with a reason.
It reads no game API directly.
How the addon calls it
- Talent (widget)
else text(parent,L["This client uses a different talent system. This reference is preserved but cannot be evaluated."]) end Conditions.talent.gridWidgettext(parent,L["This reference belongs to another talent layout. Selecting a talent explicitly replaces it; viewing does not convert it."])Conditions.talent.traitsWidgettext(parent,L["This reference belongs to another talent layout. Selecting a talent explicitly replaces it; viewing does not convert it."])Conditions.talent.treePickerelse text(parent,L['This client does not expose a Classic talent-tree layout. The saved tree reference is preserved.']) end
