Dual-wield melee Survival once Survival is your main talent tree with 21 points, Strider Kick's tier (until then the ranged premade levels you, as the guides advise). Pull with Hunter's Mark and Serpent Sting, then Mongoose Bite, Strider Kick, Raptor Strike and Counterattack, with Explosive Trap on three or more enemies. Out of melee it shoots: Serpent Sting, Arcane Shot, Aimed Shot, Auto Shot. Reminders: Aspect of the Beast, Hunter's Mark (Expose Prey needs it), Rapid Fire and Blood Fury on elites or in dungeons, Deterrence while you hold the target's attention, pet care (health is hidden on Forever, so Mend Pet is yours). An optional Immolation Trap step is off by default.
